Le Jardin Précieux de Givenchy

Hi and good morning! Having a good weekend?

Before going to a brunch with a friend, I want  to share with you my last beauty discovery. And my last beauty wish.

Le "Jardin Précieux" is the last perfume from Givenchy. For this fragance, the designer has been inspired by the gardens of Versailles that André Le Nôtre created for Louis XIV.

It´a fragance that belongs to the family of the floral and fruity fragances. At firts you smell pear mixed with jasmine, rose, peaches and tea. And as base notes of the perfum you smell of musk and woody notes.

I am asure that fragance is gonna to be a Must Have this summer!!!

I am a Barbie Girl in a Moschino World

Hello and good nigth!!!

For the SS 2015 Moschino Collection, the designer Jeremy Scott has created a wardrobe inspired by Barbie and her entrepreneur attitude. When entered the show, the assistants found a Barbie doll atop every seat. She was wearing the first look of Jeremy Scott´s collection: a hot pink cropped moto jacket and skirt and a box that proclaimed "The Most Moschino Barbie Doll Ever".

Jeremy Scott made  excessive Pink outfits, a wardrobe that show us professional and leisure adventures of the Barbie doll. A procession of the eighties excess.

There was a Fly girl Barbie, in a Pink branded sweatsuit. There was a Bussiness Lunch Barbie, wearing a diamanté studded knit suit. There was Poolside Barbie, so hot in a diamanté studded towel dress and turban.

The accessories were so Barbie and hot! Hot Pink I-phone cases, daisy-colored leather bucket bags, lettered belts, pool-float inspired handbags.

At the end of the show, an e-mail blast went out announcing the arrival of a Pink mirror I-phone case, Pink and black logoed backpacks and a Pink leather bag shaped like a motorcycle jacket.

That show was a sugary, and exceess of Pink Californian attitude. Jeremy showed how to see like in Pink. After all, Barbie likes to have fun!!

Victor and Rolf Haute Couture SS 2015

Hi everbody!!!

Do you want to enter into the fashion garden?

At their last collection, the dutch designers Victor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, known as Victor and Rolf, came up with a blooming flower garden. About it, Rolf said  that it was "the quintessential summer look: a floral dress, a straw hat and flip flops".

In their 20 looks, the designers increasingly added color to a base floral blue print. The dresses were so voluminous that, as Victor said, "the outfits become more surreal". The straw hats came embellished with giant stalks of wheat, as broad as beach umbrellas. These hats served as hoists for floral embroideries that flew off the dresses.

The designers wanted to show something that "made prints come alive" and that´s what they achieved thanks of the straw hats and the assymetrial volume of the dresses, as we can see on the pictures.

There was only one dress with Pink floral print. But I want to share with you the pictures because I find the collection so pretty! It´s like the exhuberants countryside paints from Van Gogh.

Do you like the collection?

That´s a fashion garden!!!

Zuhair Murad Haute Couture SS 2015 at Paris Fashion Week

Hi Everybody!! Today I want to show you pictures from the Zurair Murad Haute Couture Fashion show that took place at Paris Fashion Week.

It was complicated to go to the Zuhair Murad show because the access to the show venue, the Palais de Tokyo Art Museum, was blocked by the police: the french railway workers were protesting against a reform on their sector. This was the most surreal of fashion moments this season.

Even so, the impecably dressed women did to see the fashion show.

There was quite a lot to love about the show, a show where a few models walked all along the runway wearing Pink princess and beautiful dresses.

Pink strapless sequined and tulle gown with a voluminous skirt and a belt

The dresses had sequins that sparkled on the gowns, there were crystals drifted in clusters on long silk tulle dresses, there were peplum shimmering jackets, they were floor-skimming evening gowns and girly short dresses. The beadwork of the evening gowns was so impressive  and delicate done that it was hard to see where the dress ended and the model´s bare skin began.

Cocktel Pink dress with beads and a corolla skirt

Pink coktail strapless gown with blue floral embroidery

At the end off the show, the bride emerged, wearing an impressive white dress. A dress that demostrates that what Zuhair made was Couture.

If the entracnce of the show was surreal, the show itself was surreal too, with so many tulles and embroideries and voluminous gowns. But that´s what the designers´ clients wanted to see: Couture on its own.

Valentino Haute Couture SS 2015 at Paris Fashion Week

Hi everybody!! Have you got a good weekend? Hope so!! Now it´s monday so time to go to work!!

As you already known, last days has taken place at Paris the Haute Couture fashion shows.

So now I want to share with you the défilé from Valentino. There´s only one Pink dress on the collection, even so I want to show you a few dresses that I´ve found so bucolic and romantic.

Because the collection designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri is so romantic and has at the same time a folkloric charm.

Muslim gown with a folkloric vest

Dress with a folkloric print

They´ve been inspired by the work of Marc Chagall, which the designers saw in Milan, a collection that for them was about the "power of love" but also about the Russian country life. And by the love poetry of Renaissance Italy.

Dress inspired in Russian countylife

A Romantic vibe Pink dress inspired in the Italian Renaissance

Russian-style printed dress with a velvet cape

Another dress inspired in the Italian Renaissance

The designers mixed ethereal embroidered gowns, a couture so exquisite, with plain gowns in velvet or muslim. Theyre were also exquisite gowns with the skirt embroidered with abstract motifs, heavenly clouds and poetic script like "Amor Vincit Omnia": Love conquers all.

So yes, it was a collection really romantic and loving inspiring that only in Paris, the city of love, could take place.

Dior Haute Couture SS 2015

Raf Simmons presented an exquisite, electric and playfully erotic collection for Christian Dior.

The fashion show took place at the gardes of the Musée Rodin,  all of it carpeted with the "Bois de Rose" carpet and scaffolding decoration.

It wasn´t a lot of Pink looks, but even so I want to share a few pictures of the Fashion show.

The collection could be call retro: a journey through the fifties with the voluminous skirts, the sixties and the sequins and stripes; and the seventies with the multicolour jacquard. But with a touck of modernity becasue the designer matched these skirts with sporty tops.

For Raf, each decade represented something: the 50´s and the Romanticism; the experimentation of the sisties and the liberation of the 70´s.

 Fifties´vibe

Sixties´vibe

Seventies´vibe

I have to say that I don´t like the seventies´vibe. But the collection was really a travel around the decades that were different culturally. Raf mixes, magnifies the dissonance into a collection as captivating in its variety and in its execution.

The catwalk featured sequined-coloured party dresses, plastic printed coats, psychedelic catsuits, lace and sequins, floral lace, colorful ribbons striated on tops and skirts, delicate embroideries, guipure dresses. All of these looks were shown with second-skin strech boots made in vinyle, a touch of subversion into the romantic looks.

Yellow and Pink cut-out dress with a "New Look" inspired skirt

All the other looks were a shock whit the simplicity of the short yellow wooll coat with only a single vertical stripe of decoration.

The collecttion was more radical but, at the same time, so modern chic.

So do you like it?

What do you think about it?
